End Tables for Every Room

End tables can house more than just a lamp or a vase of flowers. With the many members of the household and all the rooms with its different functions, an addition of an end table can add style and function to a space.

Your children can benefit from an end table as an additional storage space. Choose an end table with additional storage at the bottom to store toys and books. It can also be their school center where they store their school backpacks, books and school supplies so that these things don’t end up all over the room.

For limited spaces, an end table can replace a coffee table. Take two chairs and an end table and make a spot for a conversation inside your tiny apartment. It can also be a phone center and a charging station for your cellphone. Put a notepad and a pen on the surface so people can take messages when somebody calls.

In the guest bathroom, an end table can give the space a welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere. Put toiletries, hand towels and a magazine or two on the surface. If the end table has storage, use it to store bathroom supplies so your guests never run out of tissue paper or hand towels.

In the kitchen, an end table can serve as a recipe center. Store your recipe books in cabinets below and have your recipe box, pens, a book holder to keep a recipe book open to the meal of the moment and blank cards for taking notes.

For your office, use an end table for computer peripherals, such as a printer, a scanner or a fax machine. You can also use it to store extra office supplies and remove that clutter from your main working space.

More than just decorative, an end tables can serve many a purpose in a household. Find one that’s right for you and your needs.
